This performance is built on Polish traditional songs. The arrangement of particular songs, their scales and rhythms create the musical narrative of the performance, at the same time building its structure. The content of this performance is structure-filling sound,. The majority of songs is several centuries old, sang in a traditional manner the sources of which are rooted in the archaic rituals. In those days sound was approached as an instrument forming reality and its function was to move from the visible to invisible world. It is fundamentally different from our modern approach to sound formed on an aesthetic level, not the functional one. Here emerges the question on the role of a performer and quality of his mediating between the past and present. These songs, although they convey the past live, are not present in musical culture and awareness of the Poles; the old music scales, rhythmical structures and dialects have been forgotten.
