This production about the women’s orchestra in Auschwitz-Birkenau was inspired by a book “Playing for Time” written by Fania Fenelons. It is the evening of April 15th, 1945. The members of the camp orchestra are set free. For a while they cannot get used to open gates. Slowly they begin to make their first steps. Jewish music and extraordinary visual aspect of the performance give it an original form.
