The authors of Andersen Theatre puppet performance for adults describe it as a visual-musical show. The director, Daniel Arbaczewski, arranged this medieval heroic poem for an actor and puppets. What seems impossible to achieve, becomes the biggest asset of the performance. Arbaczewski rises to the challenge he posed to himself with real bravado. On his own he replays all battles, court meetings and royal councils. The music performed live by Agnieszka Kołaczewska helps to build up the atmosphere and add some panache to all scenes. With this fascinating adventure with medieval literature H. Ch. Andersen Theatre reactivated in 2009 their series of truly interesting and inspiring performances for adults.
