Wojciech Urbański’s debut in the role of a director of a performance based on two pieces by a star of Russian theatre, young dramatist Yaroslava Pulinovich translated by Agnieszka Lubomira Piotrowska.

A story of two teenage girls living somewhere in contemporary Russia. At first glance the only thing they have in common is their name: Natasha. They come from different social classes; they have different views on life, goals and ambitions. One of them was raised in an orphanage, the other was brought up in a wealthy middle class family. One of them has nothing, the other, trying to fulfil the ambitions of her parents, has joined the rat race a long time ago. And yet, they have more in common they would have expected. They are both self-centred and ruthless when it comes to fighting for their life, love and their dreams to … be someone else.
What would the clash of those two worlds bring?

“Natasha’s Dream” is the first performance produced as part of the new project of the Powszechny Theatre – Debut Stage. The aim of the project is to help young artists (directors, actors and stage designers) make the first steps in their artistic career. Young artists can stage their performances making the best of all of the facilities of a professional theatre.
