“Wieczorem” is a hybrid performance that fuses the poetry of Józef Czechowicz, jazz interpretations of Grammy winner Włodzimierz Pawlik and the musical personalities of Dorota Miśkiewicz, Kuba Badach and Lublin-based artists.

Włodek Pawlik – Polish composer, jazz pianist and pedagogue, 2014 Grammy Award recipient; leader of the Włodek Pawlik Trio since the 1990s, with whom he played alongside numerous powerhouses of Polish and world jazz, including Randy Brecker, Billy Hart and Richie Cole; a regular collaborator of the Western Jazz Quartet (USA); recorded over 20 albums („Anhelli”, „Tykocin Jazz Suite”) as well as composed film score (Dorota Kędzierzawska’s “Wrony/Crows”, Borys Lankosz’ “Rewers/Reverse”, Peter Greenaway’s “Nightwatching”) and contemporary music. Recipient of the 2005 “Fryderyk” Award for “Stabat Mater” and of the 2006 Polish Television Award for his “Anhelli” album. The legendary Warsaw Akwarium Jazz Club numerously awarded him the “Jazz Musician of the Year” accolade.
