The protagonists of „Legoland” are young people, but already emotionally handicapped. They are isolated, incapable of establishing true relationships with their partners, without any plans for the future, living in the present moment. They constitute a mini-society of blockers. Dobbrow calls them “children at the edge”. Their problem is pathological environment, lack of true contacts with their parents or deviated relations with them, bad experience from childhood and fear to face adult life. After the premiere a critic from Die Welt wrote “There is no other contemporary play which would so convincingly render the of feelings young people nowadays”
