In this monodrama based on Witkacy’s play, the creators attempt to redefine fundamental concepts for the world of conceptual art. The result of the search is a coherent creation of a “post-artist” – a collector-conceptualist, who identifies artistry with acts of extreme sacrifice for the idea. The original text is almost unaltered; when clashed with the merciless reality of the modern world it pushes the viewers outside their comfort zone, forcing them to reflect on the limits of artistic expression.
