Studied at the Sorbonne, taught at the Polish school in Paris, was the head of a team at the SOFRES-Communications Institute, sold furs and ionized water. He published his collection of poetry “Wiersze zebrane” (1988), “Szosa warszawska” (1995) and “Flądry, gazele, żyrafy” (2006). Translated over thirty books from French (by Dumas, Nerval, Cendrars, Genet, Ponge, Houellebecq, Ken Bugul, Laferrière, Mabanckou, among others). In 2011 he entered the studio Rogalów Analogowy to record his album entitled “Jonosfera” presenting songs he wrote in Paris for the group Maîtres Queux, existing since mid-90s, when Eric Petit (poet and songwriter) overdose heroine he bought at rue de la Goutte-d’Or (the Golden Drop Street) in the Arabic Barbès… At the concert we will hear compositions by Jacek Giszczak with his own lyrics, as well as songs written by Eric Petit and Serge Gainsbourg.
