A record of the meeting between Magda, a girl with peasant roots and Franciszek, a young aristocrat, who together set off to the Lublin-Carpathian rural regions in order to ask whether the social history of Poland has an influence on who we are today, how we see and think about the same histories. The film presents a unique opportunity to discuss Poland’s landowning heritage and attempts to restore it to its rightful place in our collective memory.
