Pan Pan Theatre was founded by Gavin Quinn and Aedin Cosgrove in 1993. The company have realized fourteen productions which originated from the collaboration of actors, musicians, stage designers and other artists. Exploring the areas that fascinate them, Pan Pan Theatre cooperates with various theatre companies from all over the world, realizing individual projects and participating in international ventures. It is not the first time Pan Pan Theatre is a guest of “Theatre Confrontations” festival, this time the company will perform “Deflowerfucker” which is a game of vanishing dreams with live music, dancing and singing. However, it is also a story about hope. What is external and internal performs here a tale of ‘raspberry paranoia’, hanging in the air. It is a story of the real and imaginary stepping dancers, the watches that take prosac and the diabetic cats. “Deflowerfucked” is another reality, an escape from mundane matters such as holidays or fruit.
