Rubl band was formed by Sergey Shnurov in the autumn of 2008. It includes five members of the legendary band “Leningrad”. Shnurov – electric guitar, Andrzej Antonienko – synthetiser, Denis „Dens” Mozhin – drums, Konstantin Limonov – guitar. Aleksey Kaniev joined the band recently. Their music combines violence and ardor with minimalism, which is the major social and musical message conveyed by the band. “Rubl” performs frequently in the music clubs of Sankt Petersburg and Moscow to much acclaim of the audience. The renowned director Boris Chlebnikov realizeda video clip to illustrate their song „Love”.
