Ohta Shogo Theatre – Shogo Ohta, its director and playwright is one of the leading figures in the contemporary Japanese theatre. The theatre will present the play “Sarachi” written and directed by Shogo Ohta. Among the performers there are two outstanding Japanese actors Kyoko Kishida and Tetsuya Segawa. Between 1968 and 1988 Shogo Ohta was the manager of the Tenkei Gekijo, the famous theatrical group from Tokyo. Kyoko Kishida is a prominent theatre and film actress. She became world famous after her performance in “The woman from the Dunes” directed by Hiroshi Teshigahara. Tetsuya Segawa, her partner was the leading actor of the Tenkej Gekjio Theatre and significantly contributed to its success.
