Studio Teatr Office Box was founded in 2000 on the initiative of Jerzy Lach, a founder of the Albert Tisson Theatre and creator of the legendary performance ‘ Save Our Souls’ (1994). The company consists of professional actors, but they function as an independent group. Their work often concentrates on social issues which are located within the area of interest of modern man. Super Market is a play about the so-called ‘singles’ that is people who declare ‘loneliness’ as their life style. They avoid responsibility, living only for themselves, replacing feelings with sex and family with a career. They devote their time to companies for which they work, being loyal to their superiors and want to pay for everything. This is the world our protagonist lives in.
