… he listens to the voice which stays behind and continues resounding, above us. This is the voice which speaks about pain, fear, joy, asks questions at an elementary level. In each of us the voice is the same, it sounds the same, it differs only with respect to a form and intensity, degree of perfection, both when art is a passionate pursuit after reality as well as when it is art for itself. I do not want to say that only artists own a monopoly for a Work of Art. A work of art emerges in a situation when you are with yourself, and this is a situation everybody happens to be in. At least from time to time.
God is in silence.
– Say something
– What?
– Whatever. I would like to hear your voice even for a little

Leszek Bojanowski

“Struggling with God, with cultural tradition, with the burden of civilization and our inner self crowded with questions acquire unusual profundity and remarkable intensity in Leszek Bojanowski’s text, composed of the fragments of his diary “Imerologio Katastromatos Log-Book” and poems included in the recently published book “Masks and Places”. We get close to the metaphysical experience as the pulse of music releases trance-like actions .”
