The performance is based on Robert Walser’s stories and talks about a day in life of the Wanderer, an office clerk, but also writer, extremely sensitive person, deriving his inspiration from surrounding reality. Everyday routine, meetings at work, over lunch, in the street, at the dentists get transformed into poetic images, constituting successive stops during his walk-life. For the protagonist his here and now is a much richer artistic impulse than sophisticated incentives. However, the reality he gets enchanted by, tries to imprison him, keep him in the rigid scheme of the organized bourgeois life. The Wanderer is a co-production of KOŁO and CONFRONTATIONS, premiered on 6th October.
