Held during the 2016 Konfrontacje Festival as a meeting of students of theatre studies departments of Polish universities, the Festival Campus becomes a space of intellectual and experiential exchange, a site of discussions about very recently attended plays and shows, a place of meetings with artists as well as a platform for debates that reach far beyond the scope of the Festival itself.

Conducted by researchers from the universities of Kraków, Poznań and Warszawa, the seminars will tackle both the issues related to this year’s festival and its wider context. In addition, Campus participants will also be given a chance to participate in specially tailored meetings with artists participating in the Festival.

The fourth iteration of the project in Poland will be attended by 30 students of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warszawa and Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Seminars will be conducted by Prof. Ewa Guderian-Czaplińska (Adam Mickiewicz University), Dr Tomasz Kowalski (Adam Mickiewicz University), Dr Monika Kwaśniewska (Jagiellonian University) and Zofia Smolarska (The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art).
