Czechov’s classic “Wieroczka” provided the foundations for producing “Feelings”, a performance about lost dreams and youth, poetry and primarily sincere love of a woman and man’s incapability to respond to it. The protagonist falls in love with a young statistician who arrives in a little provincial town. She decides to reveal her feeling only when he is about to leave for Sankt Petersburg. Live music, amazing tricks performed by the actors bring life into the production and create a unique atmosphere of freedom, joy and beauty. The funny edge of love confession does not soften the stormy emotions of the character and becomes still another opportunity to get an insight into the Russian lyrical nature.
