Teatr Cinema founded in 1992 by Katarzyna Rotkiewicz-Szumska and Zbigniew Szumski, painters and scenographers, the graduates of the State College of Theatrical Arts (PWST) in Gdansk, and by four actors who left Norwid Theatre in Jelenia Góra.
Tadeusz Burzyński commented on “Bilard” (The Pool) in the following terms: “The play undoubtedly succeeded in creating the surrealistic world of absurd (…) It is both sophisticated and strikingly witty. Does the theatre from Michałowice openly sneers at the world? No, it merely competes with the world in absurdity”.
