The performance of The Daska Group form Croatia entitled “Waiting for Bread” introduced the element of light fun and was characterised by a poetry of a naive children imagination. To present a horse, it was enough to have long pole, the princess was created by putting on a dress cut out of paper. The actors, as old vagabonds, engaged the audience in active participation in the play choosing from among them various people to portray different figures. (Renata Derejczyk, “Gazeta Krakowska”)

“Waiting for Bread” with its title recalling Beckett is inspired equally by the despair of Godot and the naivete of fables for children. (Lyn Gardner)
